wk #9. TRENDS, TIPS & INFLUENCES FOR 2010

Help me I’ve fallen and I can’t get up…well then clap your hands for god’s sake…or better yet create a New Belief that serves who you want to become.

The obstacle that is in the way and can be a block if not our undoing this year is one that is a very common affliction that most of us are eminently familiar with… Being STUCK along with it’s old side kick’s called Self-destruction and Self- punishment. Ever heard of those two tag team partners???  Many of us have…but do not despair, there is a way out.

It is the fear that life has no meaning, that you are powerless or even better yet a victim of forces beyond your control, that sets you up for your undoing. That is when you are most apt to settle into a state of despondency in which you question, “what am I doing here anyway?, and why does it even matter?”… ” I can’t make any sense of it, so to hell  with it, I will live it up an indulge myself…after all what do I have to loose?”  Obviously, this attitude can lead to addictions and substance abuse, in other words, self-destructive behavior in which we engage because at some level we don’t believe that we deserve better.  That we are NOT WORTHY .   As stated on an earlier post: “Keep it simple.”, because choices either go For Life or Against Life. So, it is absolutely critical that you make choices that serve who you want to become….On the other hand all of the best intentions, resolutions and positive affirmations in the world will not address the underlying cause of those old self limiting beliefs . You all remember hearing what the road to hell is lined with………………………

There is a method that I have employed as part of my coaching practice in which I work with my clients to identify old self limiting beliefs and then use a Psych-K Process that I have been trained in for creating a New Belief that serves who you want to become. There is more to this than this short description can identify, but suffice to say that great things can happen when  we create new Self Empowering Beliefs.

TIP! : Try starting the day this way…each morning you repeat the following Belief:  ” I AM WORTHY of living a happy, balanced and abundant life doing the things THAT I LOVE.”  and step back and see where things go from there.                Note! ; If nothing changes you’ll want to connect with someone trained in Psych-K and creating New Belief systems.
